Commissioner Feedback Session
Expression of Interest

The Melbourne Women in Film Festival is seeking expressions of interest from screen creatives/creative teams (max 4 people) who have an idea for a long or short form series. This is an opportunity to meet with commissioners from the ABC or SBS to receive feedback on the project in a face-to-face meeting during the 2026 festival - Saturday 21st March at ACMI, Fed Square.

Expressions of interest should include:

  • A 3 minute video describing the project. This should include:

    • Type of work – long form series or short form (digital) series

    • Short synopsis/description of the idea

    • Genre/s

    • Target audience/s

    • Why this story is important to tell

    • How your project reflects ABC or SBS diversity and inclusion requirements

  • You will also be required to provide a CV or CVs for the key creative team. 

The deadline for submissions is Sunday 22nd February, 11:59pm.

Applications will be shortlisted by an industry panel (at least 3 members). All applicants will be notified of whether they have been shortlisted by Friday 6th March, 5pm.
